The fire and ice trail returns to Easton, MD on February 14th and 15th for Chesapeake Fire & Ice 2025!
Once again presented by Preston Automotive Group, this free family-friendly two-day festival features a spectacular trail of larger-than-life ice sculptures, many of which are interactive, such as the colossal ice throne, an ice graffiti wall, a giant ice slide, a romantic ice fireplace, and more all through downtown Easton! The first night of the festival will kick off with a Valentine’s Day block party featuring electric live musical performances, fire pits, live ice carvings, and a stocked ice bar with tasty beverages from Delmarva Craft and Lyon Rum in the Fire Pavilion at 41 South Harrison Street from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Downtown will morph into a vibrant winter wonderland perfect for strolling and taking pictures with amazing icy art from the carvers at Icelab and music filling the streets. Take your sweetie ice-skating at the Bluepoint Hospitality-sponsored rink at 11 South Harrison Street, free for skaters of all ages on both days of the festival. Visitors can also find Cascading Carlos juggling fire in Thompson Park from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the 14th and 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the 15th.
On Saturday, the 15th, kids and families will find plenty of fun activities at the children’s ice house at the Waterfowl Building, located at 40 South Harrison Street. Children of all ages can take a break from the cold and enjoy free craft projects, games, hot chocolate, and more.
Delicious bites and beverages abound downtown with fresh oysters from the Talbot Watermen and free live musical performances from many talented artists including J. Coursey Willis, Anna Burgess, DJ E Shore, Poppy Blue Eyes, and Jayla Elise. Local restaurants and retailers will also offer spicy specials, exclusive cocktails, sizzling sales, and limited-edition treats throughout the weekend.
“Chesapeake Fire & Ice is the perfect time to visit downtown Easton” stated Tom Maglio, Easton EDC’s Marketing and Events Manager. “Between this year’s incredible sculptures, our expanded Fire Pavilion, and our shops and eateries bringing their winter best, there is plenty for visitors and the community to be excited about.”
With so many things to see, taste, and experience on the trail of ice and fire, this winter extravaganza cannot be missed!
