Dorchester Center for the Arts is hosting a holiday exhibition featuring original works for show and sale. “Wednesday Morning Artists and Friends: Gallery of Gifts”, will run through December 19. This seasonal favorite features a broad selection of handcrafted items, perfect for thoughtful gift-giving. A variety of mediums are represented, including fiber art, gold and silver jewelry, glass, photography, paintings, mixed media, and ceramics. Wednesday Morning Artists is a local group of artists and art lovers who meet regularly for discussions, community projects, artful outings and to support each other’s efforts. Over twenty artists are exhibiting their work, including Shelby Clendaniel, Patricia Dekker, Jen Dowling, Jo Ebling, Ned Egan, Carol Feierbend, Joyce Fritz Ritz, Lisa Heaton, Katie Hurley, Jill Jasuta, Stephanie Keene, Marshall Kjar, Willa Klingensmith, Tod Lahman, John Lewis, Sue Lester, Maura Manley, Janice Orlick, Kathleen Rogers, Maggii Sarfaty, Lisa Scarbath, Heidi Wetzel, and Jennell Willey. Gallery hours are Thursday through Saturday, noon – 6:00 p.m.
