Nancy Tankersley’s Easton Studio has finalized its 2015 workshop schedule and is now accepting registrations.
“There is much to be excited about as we kick off another year of quality art instruction offered by some of the best of the best,” says Nancy. “Many of our most popular artist instructors will be returning and we also look forward to welcoming some new faces.”
Tankersley starts off the year in January with her beginners’ workshop, Jumpstart into Oils, followed by new instructor, Denver-based painter Kevin Weckbach in February. The month of March features the return of portrait and figure painter William Schneider from Illinois, and Pennsylvania plein air painter Jon Redmond will return in May to teach a plein air workshop. A second May workshop will focus on learning to paint the beautiful gardens of Talbot County taught jointly by artists Nancy Tankersley and native Oklahoman Gay Faulkenberry, past President of the Plein Air Painters of America and 2008 Judge of Plein Air Easton. Other additions to this impressive list of instructors include still life artist Laura Robb from Taos, and master pastelist and colorist from California, Sally Strand. Oil painters Hiu Lai Chong, and David Shevlino, as well as renowned watercolorist Tom Lynch, will also be returning to teach in 2015.
Easton Studio is known for offering workshops by nationally known, award-winning professional artists. The full 2015 schedule and details can be viewed on Easton Studio’s web site, www.easton-studio.com.
