Food for families: Thanksgiving distribution day

As we celebrate the holiday season, we reflect on the blessings we’ve received and embrace the spirit of giving. In an effort to support our community, the Iota Alpha Alpha (IAA) Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. is hosting a special Thanksgiving Turkey Distribution Day event to provide Thanksgiving turkeys and meals to over 150 families in Talbot County.

IAA has joined with our Chapter members, regional companies, and community-based non-profits to provide some cheer to a needing family.  Iota Alpha Alpha would like to extend an invitation to you and your news media outlet to attend our special event for the community.

Event Details:

Date: Saturday, November 23, 2024

Time: Noon – 2:00 PM

Location: Blake – Blackston American Legion Hall Post 77, 102 Glenwood Avenue, Easton, MD 21601

What to Expect:

  • Thanksgiving Meal Distribution: Free Thanksgiving Day uncooked meals provided to identified needing families.
  • Live Music: Enjoy uplifting tunes to celebrate the season.

How FAMILIES Participate:

Over 150 families are identified by the local non-profit agencies that service Talbot County.
