Robert J. Koenke, a member of the American Society of Appraisers, will offer a free lecture, “The Value of Collecting Art” on January 27, 2018, at 2:00 pm at Troika Gallery on Harrison Street in Easton. The talk is open to all.
A noted Fine Art Appraiser, Mr. Koenke has extensive experience in the art world and has been appraising fine art for over 30 years at museums, for private collections, attorneys and art dealers. He is a national speaker and has given over 1,500 seminars, speeches, and media appearances.
Koenke was the publisher and editor in chief of Wildlife Art for 24 years and has served on numerous boards as an art advisor and as a judge. Locally he has availed his expertise to the Waterfowl Festival and the Academy Art Museum as a board member.
Mr. Koenke holds a degree in Fine Art Appraisal from The Pratt Institute in New York City. He is also a member of the Alliance of American Museums. His business, Koenke & Associates, provides appraisal and consultation services in the fine arts.
