The Friends of the Library’s 22nd Annual Poetry Contest is now underway. All Talbot County residents and all students attending Talbot County schools are eligible to enter.

Cash prizes will be awarded in each of four categories: Students in Grades 3 – 5, Students in Grades 6 – 8, Students in Grades 9 – 12, and Adults. Poems must be submitted to the library or postmarked by Thursday, April 12. Winners will be announced and prizes presented at an Awards Ceremony on May 10, at 6:00 p.m., in the new Easton library.

Flyers outlining the rules and categories for entry can be found at all branches of the Talbot County Free Library and on the library website: www.tcfl.org.

The library thanks the Talbot County Arts Council for their support of this program.
