Congressman Andy Harris is excited to announce that he will now participate in a second debate with the candidates for the First Congressional District in Cecil County on October 26th. This follows confirmation from the host, Cecil TV, that they would re-invite the Libertarian candidate after walking back confirmed plans to do so earlier in the week.
Congressman Harris issued the following statement:
“I am glad that Cecil TV reconsidered their position and are now inviting all candidates whose name appears on the November ballot to participate in their debate. That’s the way democracy should work. I have already agreed to the debate, now that all candidates are invited. This will be the first of two debates in this race – more than in any other Congressional race in Maryland. One should ask: why are Maryland’s Democrat incumbents afraid to debate their Republican challengers? Is it that their positions to de-fund the police, to allow the free flow of fentanyl across an open southern border, to stop parents from having input into their children’s schools, and spending recklessly to increase our everyday cost of living are indefensible?”

How can 1st District residents not in Cecil Co, or who don’t get Cecil TV, watch this debate? When/where is the 1st debate, or has it already taken place? If so, was it recorded or is there any way to see even some clips or highlights from that debate?
I’m sure many constituents in the Mid-Shore area, like me, would like to see and hear first-hand what, if anything, Harris has to say about any of the many, many indefensible positions he espouses.

Harris is not qualified to be in Congress if he actually believes the lies he tells about the Democrats.
Please explain why you were at the meeting on Dec. 2021 conspiring to steal the presidential election.
Do you believe Trump, who’s told 30,000 lies, or the 60+ judges who dismissed virtually every one of his bogus lawsuits for lack of evidence?
Your answer is clear, and by it you are unqualified and un-American because you have falsely attacked American elections, while falsely accusing Democrats of doing exactly what you have done and continue to do.
You are a threat to free and fair elections in the United States.

These are dumb things to say about a decent guy who simply loves serving his constituents. I don’t think he got on board the election conspiracy but as a responsible Republican you can bet he wanted to be knowledgeable about it all and support his leader where possible. And even some major Democrats have called for election reform so there was definitely something going on wrong in the 2020 elections.
