On Thursday, November 15, at 6:30 p.m., in the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library, Horn Point Laboratory’s Dr. Patricia Gilbert will give a talk and PowerPoint presentation entitled “Nutrient Pollution and Water Quality: Global Insight, Local Perspective.”
The Chesapeake Bay and its rivers are the lifeblood of the Eastern Shore. While many easily recognize the natural beauty Bay country offers, the Horn Point Laboratory is offering these “Science After Hours with Horn Point Laboratory” programs to make the science of the Chesapeake Bay as accessible as its beauty.
All library programs are free and open to the public. Patrons may pre-register for this program at https://www.umces.edu/science-after-hours-november, or by contacting Carin Starr at[email protected] or 410-221-8408.
