Community members looking for an extra dose of cheer are invited to Improv Easton’s Ha, Ha, Ho Holiday Show. Talbot County’s favorite – and only – improv troupe is hosting a free family-friendly improv jam on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 6:30-7:30pm in the Waterfowl Building at 40 S. Harrison Street in Easton. The evening promises laugh-out-loud fun and holiday cookies for all.
Before the improv performance, take advantage of the festive atmosphere in downtown Easton. Explore the Starlight Shopping opportunity, then head over to the Waterfowl Building to browse the Festival Shoppe and the Academy Art Museum Annual Members’ Exhibition. Finally, grab a seat for the main act. No tickets needed.
Improvisational performance – also known as improv – is spontaneous and unscripted. No one, including the performers, knows what will come up. The audience becomes a part of the show by offering a word or location suggestions that spark ideas for games and scenes made up on the spot. It’s guaranteed to be a one-of-a-kind show, never to be seen again.
Don’t miss this chance to experience the magic of improv and celebrate the holiday season with Improv Easton. This free show is made possible by a generous grant from Choptank Arts and Cultural Exchange.
About Improv Easton
Improv Easton’s mission is to provide opportunities for creative connection in our community through the art of improv. Since 2019, the troupe has been meeting weekly to play improv games, develop scenes, and hone their craft. They regularly perform around the Mid Shore, host free community improv events, and lead workshops to give others a low-stress, high-fun opportunity to learn the fundamentals of improv comedy. Improv Easton is a fund of the Mid Shore Community Foundation.
