For the second consecutive year, the highly-anticipated St. Michaels Concours d’Elegance will be held at Inn at Perry Cabin, the Eastern Shore’s preeminent boutique waterfront resort. Steeped in East Coast heritage and polish, Inn at Perry Cabin is located in the iconic Chesapeake Bay region, serving as a stylish backdrop for one of the top-ranking classic car collector competitions, taking place from September 21-23, 2018.

In its twelfth year, St. Michaels Concours d’Elegance is known as a weekend of casual elegance, featuring classic collector cars to marquee racing greats. In 2007, the internationally-admired event came to the Eastern Shore and premiered for the first time at Inn at Perry Cabin by Founding Chairman George Walish, the past president of Rolls-Royce of North America.
During the annual event, automobile enthusiasts and collectors compete on an invitation-only basis to be named Best in Show. Each year, the competition showcases some of the finest automobiles from around the world. To qualify for participation, all entrants must meet strict standards, such as having won similarly prestigious awards previously. The 2017 Best in Show champion was the 1921 Rolls Royce “Springfield” Silver Ghost, owned by Mark and Carolynn Corigliano.
The 2018 weekend of events will commence on Friday,September 21 with a grand welcome reception at Inn at Perry Cabin. Saturday begins a morning motor tour.The car show and auction, the weekend’s main events,will be held on Saturday afternoon, followed by a showcase of rare, pre-war European and American coach-built automobiles and post-war sport cars on Sunday, across the Inn at Perry Cabin’s spectacular waterfront lawn.
Again in 2018, St. Michaels Concours d’Elegance will partner with The Classic Motor Museum of St. Michaels Maryland, an educational resource for car enthusiasts, as well as The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, which once again host the classic and antique boat showings at the Museum’s Fogg’s Cove Landing.
