Integrace Bayleigh Chase, a forward-thinking life plan community based in Easton, is partnering with the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Maryland Chapter to host a Memory Café for individuals living with early-stage dementia and their families and friends on Tuesday, February 13 at 11:30 a.m.
Titled “Making Connections,” the Memory Café is an early-stage social engagement program that offers a safe and relaxed place for people to come together and share experiences and talk about dementia. Anyone affected by early-stage dementia is welcome to attend.
Bayleigh Chase and the Alzheimer’s Association host a Memory Café on the second Tuesday of each month. The February 13 discussion will focus on heart health and disease preventions and management. Neurologist Terry Detrich, M.D. of the Samuel & Alexa Bratton Neurocognitive Clinic will be the featured speaker. The event is free to attend and will include light refreshments. The event will be held at Bayleigh Chase’s second dining room, located at 501 Dutchmans Lane, Easton, Md. 21601.
