Zentangle® is an easy to learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images using repetitive patterns from nature. Patterns are broken down into step-by-step lines, dashes, curves, and orbs. There are no right or wrong strokes. You do not have to be an artist.
This introductory class sets the groundwork for your Zentangle® art. Using the basic Zentangle® kit instruments of Micron pens, a pencil, and a paper tiles, you will learn a variety of tangles. You will create several pieces of original Zentangle® tile art.
You can then use this art form as a relaxing, focused, yet deliberate practice.
Zentangle® is very portable and requires few supplies. And it’s fun!!!
Susan Green is a retired reading specialist and is a fiber artist specializing in traditional rug hooking. She creates her own patterns and dyes and her own wool fabric that she uses for wall hangings and rugs.
