Share

Irish Music Duo LILT will have a free lunchtime concert at Brookletts Place: Talbot County Senior Center on March 12, 12:15-1:00 pm.

The Irish music duo LILT: Tina Eck (flute, tin whistle, vocals) and Keith Carr (10-string bouzouki, tenor banjo, mandolin, vocals) will present a collection of traditional and contemporary Irish tunes in a variety of forms — jigs, reels, hornpipes, polkas — plus the occasional slow air and song. LILT loves and tries to capture the essentials of Irish traditional music: the boundless energy, wildness, and melancholy. Keith Carr is an ecologist, alongside being a renowned performer and music teacher; Tina Eck is originally from Germany and currently works as a German radio news correspondent when she is not playing music! www.LiltIrishMusic.com
