Laura Rankin – Guest Artist at A Happy Place

December 4, 2020 by Spy Desk

A Happy Place boutique is pleased to showcase in December the much-loved felted works of fiber artist and children’s picture book author/illustrator Laura Rankin. Her lively miniature needle felted creations for this season focus on whimsical ornaments. You’ll find tiny Santas decked out in acorn cap berets, mice in holiday finery, winter birds, felted and embroidered Christmas balls, and jewel-toned felted acorns. Plus a few holiday surprises!

Boutique owner Beth Hickman invites the public to shop and explore A Happy Place for an intriguing mix of gifts – handcrafted, vintage, and new with tags — for everyone on your holiday list.“Our shop is spacious with plenty of room for social distancing,” Hickman said. “I am pleased to have Laura’s work in my December grouping of artists. Her work is lovely and fun, and makes me happy!”

A Happy Place is at 12 N Washington St. in Easton, and is open Tuesday through Friday, 1 to 6, Saturday 10-6, and Sunday 12-5 p.m.

For more information, call 410-200-3867, email ahappy[email protected] or find the boutique on Facebook.
