I am proud to say I endorse Robert Willey for the Easton Town Council Presidency. He has worked tirelessly to preserve all that makes Easton special during his 20 years as mayor, and I have no doubt that passion will translate into the Town Council Presidency.
Robert is a lifelong resident of the Town of Easton and Talbot County, where he raised his three children with his wife, Betsy. I am lucky enough to be one of his four grandchildren with whom he shared this town throughout our childhoods. Robert took everything that made Easton special and only built upon it, both in the community and the economy.
Growing up, I have fond memories of coming to the Waterfowl Festival and Fourth of July fair every year, which Robert was always proud to share. His commitment to the town dates back further than just his time as mayor though, as he has also been a part of the Easton Volunteer Fire Department for over 60 years, the First Baptist Church for over 70 years, and the BPO Elks for almost 60 years.
I have no doubt that the pride Robert has in this town will make him the perfect choice for the Easton Town Council President. He is passionate about continuing Easton’s long history he worked so hard to build upon of being the successful, beautiful town that it is. Vote for someone who has proven his love for this town and helped it grow and evolve for as long as I can remember – vote for Robert C. Willey for Town Council President.
