Making the Case to Thrive in Talbot County: A Chat with Executive Director Heather Grant

December 2, 2024 by Dave Wheelan

Share

Tomarrow will be Giving Tuesday in Talbot County. It’s an important day for many regional nonprofits as they appeal to their friends and residents to support their particular mission. In their emails and letters to potential donors, the organizations make a “case for support” using fundraising parlance, to provide sound reasons why they are important for the community for folks to contribute.

Several times a year, we profile some of those organizations and their leaders to use the Spy readership as a promising audience for such appeals. This time around, we sat down with Heather Grant, who recently became the executive director at Talbot Thrive after serving on its board for several years. In our conversation, Heather talks about how Talbot Thrive is standing true to its mission to “promote healthy and safe outdoor mobility for everyone living, working, and visiting Talbot County.”

This video is approximately eight minutes in length. For more information or to donate to Talbot Thrive, please go here.
