Mayor Robert C. Willey administered the Oath of Office to Easton Utilities Commissioner Rodanthe Hanrahan for an additional six-year term commencing April 21, 2021. As Vice Chairman of the Easton Utilities Commission, she is charged with governance responsibilities for Easton Utilities, along with W.W. “Buck” Duncan and William Stagg, per the Town of Easton’s Charter.
“I am committed to ensuring Easton Utilities continues to prioritize high levels of customer satisfaction with regards to safety, reliability, and cost-effective services,” stated Hanrahan.
Ms. Hanrahan enjoyed a career in energy development in the U.S. and China with the AES Corporation, and she worked in Europe on energy projects with Ernst and Young’s Energy Management Consulting Group. A graduate of Brown University, she earned a Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University.
Ms. Hanrahan is an active volunteer in the community and has served on boards for organizations including The Country School, YMCA of the Chesapeake, Academy Art Museum, Talbot County Garden Club, Midshore Riverkeepers, and The Women & Girls Fund. She currently serves on the board of Critchlow Adkins Children’s Center.
