All of our ShoreRiver sites on the Miles, Wye, and Choptank Rivers failed this week. These are the highest levels we have ever seen. The rains and high winds really made an impact. Only 3 of the 21 sites passed this week in the northern regions as well.

Claiborne Beach- 1112, Fail
Claiborne Cove- 7701, Fail
Even though it is a beautiful weekend, ShoreRivers would recommend not swimming this weekend In our local waters.

Of course I could guess that the failure referenced was based on a health standard but it would be helpful in any case to be informed just what was that these bodies of water actually failed. Let’s not keep it a secret.
