Looking for a special opportunity for your young children to get outside this summer?
Look no further. Third Haven Friends Meeting (the Quakers) and instructors Cherie Baron and Kristen Hanlon are teaming up to offer a weeklong Outdoor Mindfulness camp. This popular camp blends mindfulness and nature play for children, located on the tranquil grounds of Third Haven grounds located at 405 South Washington Street in Easton.
Each morning will be spent with the talented instructors in nature with friends as it was meant to be experienced: in a full body, hands-on, messy-play way. Activities will include exploration of the six key tenets of Quakerism: Simplicity, Peace, Integrity, Community, Equality and Stewardship while immersing your child in the joys of the outdoors.
This outdoor camp is offered for 4-10 year olds, the mornings of Monday through Thursday, July 26 – 29. The cost is $100 per child, with limited space available.
