Oxford Commissioner Jimmy Jaramillo swearing in Susan Delean-Botkin

The Town of Oxford Commissioners recently accepted the resignation of Commissioner Brian Wells and selected Susan Delean-Botkin to fulfill the remainder of his term, following the guidelines outlined in the Oxford town policies on commissioner vacancies.

Susan Delean-Botkin is the former president of the Talbot County Board of Education and had been recently run for a commissioner seat earlier this month.

Delean-Botkin’s appointment, in accordance with the town policies, will span one year.

The Oxford Commissioners are determined to maintain the town’s progress and tackle pressing community issues. They encourage residents to show their support and actively engage with the local government in shaping the future of Oxford.
