August 30, 2025, 7-10pm – The Fabulous Hubcaps Return! TICKETED EVENT Join us Saturday, August 30th at 7PM for an evening with the Fabulous Hubcaps – one of the most sought-after Nostalgia Rock ‘n Roll Dance and Show Groups in  the country. The Fabulous Hubcaps have been captivating audiences since  their inception in 1974. At a typical Hubcaps show, you not only hear the best of  the classics, but you also witness your favorite artists dressed in costume,  delivering a dynamic performance that stands out as the best on tour. The  Hubcaps’ show is unique, spirited, and not a mere tribute act – it’s a musical  journey back in time. Tickets are $35 per person. Doors open at 6:30pm. Cash  bar. September 4, 2025, 5:30-6:30pm – Horn Point Lab Science Series, FREE Topic: Chesapeake Bay Water Quality: What Boaters and Scientists See Professor Elizabeth North will lead an informative discussion on what healthy and  unhealthy waters look like to boaters and scientists on the Chesapeake Bay. This  discussion will review the different aspects of Chesapeake water quality, dead  zones and harmful algae blooms.  

September 6, 2025, 8:30-10:30am – Cars & Coffee, FREE

September 10, 2025, 11am – Wellness Wednesday Lunch and Learn with Denise  Saltenfuss, MA-HWC, FREE 
Danise will discuss the importance of ‘Gut Health’ and ‘Whole Health’ and how  your digestive system impacts energy, mood and immunity. Bring your lunch and  stay for continued discussion. 

September 11, 2025, 5:30-6:30pm – Horn Point Lab Science Series, FREE Topic: From Space to Stream – Using Satellites and AI to Track Nutrient Pollution in  the Choptank River 
Professor Lorena Silva discusses an ongoing project that proposes satellite-based  approach to monitor nutrient pollution and water clarity across the Choptank  River. This project was created due to the Chesapeake Bay being on track to  fall short of meeting EPA-mandated reductions in nitrogen and phosphorus  pollution and best-management practices needed to reduce the nutrient loads  in the bay. 

September 13, 2025 – 6th Annual Road Rally, TICKETED EVENT 
Classic and Vintage cars are invited to the 6th Annual Road Rally. Special  interest modern cars will be accepted. Over 70 miles of scenic roads with a  minimum of traffic. Entrance fee includes breakfast and lunch for the driver and  one passenger and a wine tasting at Crow Vineyard. September 13, 2025, 6-11pm – WHCP Fundraiser Concert, TICKETED EVENT WHCP is holding a 10th Anniversary Gala at the OCC with performance from Lez  Zeppelin. Doors open at 6pm, show starts at 7pm. Tickets cost $100 each and  can be purchased at whcp.org. 

September 17, 2025, 5:30-7pm – Constitution Celebration Day, FREE OCC is pleased to present a program for the Nation’s annual Constitution Day  and Citizenship Day that celebrates the signing of the Constitution on  September 17, 1787. The program will be presented by Oxford resident and  United States District Judge James Bredar and will address judicial  independence and our constitutional system of government. 

September 18, 2025, 5:30pm – Oxford Library’s Local Author Series featuring Katie  Moose, FREE 
Local Author Katie Moose will discuss her Eastern Shore guide that details everything a visitor, or even a local, would want to know, including important  tips on traveling to the Eastern Shore, lodging, restaurants, favorite hideaways, 
shopping, and local history. She will bring snacks from her gourmet cookbook  too! 

September 25, 2025, 5:30-6:30pm – Horn Point Lab Science Series, FREE Topic: ‘Past, Current and Future Goods and Services Provided by Oysters’ Professor Matt Gray will discuss how oysters provide a wide range of ecological  goods and services within estuaries such as the Chesapeake Bay, and they play  a vital role in stabilizing these ecosystems. In recent years oysters’ influence has  diminished due to sharp population declines and significant alterations to both  the water bodies and the surrounding landscape.

October 4, 2025, 5:30pm – The OCC’s Fall Gala Fundraiser ‘Come Sail with Us on  the U.S.S. Oxford!’- TICKETED EVENT 
The OCC’s Board of Trustees cordially invite you to join them for an exquisite  three-course dinner by Chef Mark Salter’s Chesapeake Gourmet. Enjoy vibrant  music featuring the Bachelor Boys Band. This is a charitable event to benefit  ‘Fund-A-Need’ items for the OCC. Tickets are $150 each and can be purchased  online at oxfordcc.org.

October 15, 2025, 11am – Breast Cancer Awareness Lunch and Learn with Dr.  Gupta from Lotus Oncology and Hematology, FREE 
Join us for an overview discussion about breast cancer that includes a discussion  about risk factors, screening, symptoms and more. Bring your lunch and stay for  continued discussion. 

October 16, 2025, 5:30pm – Oxford Library’s Local Author Series featuring Author  Caren Camp who wrote ‘Life Lessons of an American Woman’, FREE Camp touches upon the topics of family, careers, health, alcoholism,  depression, and many more. She explains her topics in three parts, Finding  Personal Power, Powering Through Problems, and Powering Up for Health. 

October 18, 2025, 8:30am – 5K/10K Run/Walk for Mental Health, REGISTRATION  REQUIRED
Come join us at the Oxford Community Center as we partner with the  Christopher Foundation for Life to put on our 5th Annual 5k Run/Walk for Mental  Health. The Run/Walk helps raise money for the Eastern Shore’s mental health  programs. Come out to support Mental Health awareness and get some exercise and fresh air at the same time!
