The Tidewater Camera Club is pleased to present Photographer, Cam Miller on Monday, November 6th, 2017 from 7 to 9 PM in the Talbot County Community Center’s Wye Oak Room. The title of Cam’s talk is “Entering Juried Photo Competitions.” Cam will discuss what they are, where to find them, the advantages and disadvantages of competitions, how to prepare images for submitting, and lessons to be learned from the experience.The Public is encouraged to attend.
Cam Miller is a retired educator turned professional fine art photographer who lives in New Market, Maryland. After living and teaching on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, she moved to Central Maryland, where she is fully engaged in the arts community. She is a member of several museums, arts councils, and photography organizations. Cam has won many awards for her photographs, the subjects of which include still life, landscape, and nature. Her work has been accepted into numerous juried exhibits and competitions. She teaches photography classes at Frederick Community College, as well as does private tutoring.
