Join family and friends on Labor Day, September 2, for PigaFigaLicious, Oxford’s fundraiser which benefits the Oxford Museum. It will be held at the Oxford Fire Hall from noon until 3 p.m. In addition to great all-you-can eat roast pork and turkey with all the fixins from the legendary Butch Frase, there will be special dishes created with figs by Oxford’s own chef extraordinaire, Richard Bank. Plus entertainment by DJ Chris Startt, a 50/50 cash raffle and other surprises.
Tickets are $25 per person before August 31and $35 at the door. Children 10 and under are half price. Tickets include non-alcoholic beverages with a cash bar for beer and wine. Scottish Highland Creamery will be on hand to sell its famous ice cream. Tickets may be purchased at the Oxford Museum, online at oxfordmuseummd.org, or by calling 410-226-0191.
PigaFigaLicious is one of Oxford’s most popular events. Proceeds are used for general operating expenses and programs. Founded in 1964, The Oxford Museum, a non-profit volunteer organization provides resources for historical research and supports a variety of programs, activities and exhibits to foster knowledge and appreciation of Oxford’s people and history.
