The Town of Easton will be closing three sections of the Rails to Trails North/South Trail to repave those areas. The areas will be closed and paved on Monday, August 19, and Tuesday, August 20, with the trail being reopened for full use again on Wednesday, August 21. For your safety, please avoid these sections of the trail and plan your routes accordingly. The full span should be open for normal use again on Wednesday, 8/21.
The affected areas are:
-
The northern part of the Trail, stretching south from Plum St. for roughly 1/4 mile.
-
A middle portion, stretching roughly between Dover Rd. and Brookletts Ave.
-
The southern portion of the Trail, stretching roughly between Maryland Ave. and Idlewild Ave.
