Republicans of Talbot County to Host Primary Candidates Forum June 7

The Republican Central Committee of Talbot County will be hosting a Republican Candidates Forum on Thursday, June 7, 2018. It will be held at the Talbot County Agriculture and Education Center on Hiners Lane in Easton starting at 6:00 PM. The forum is free and is open to the public.

The forum will include brief remarks from Republican candidates running to serve on the Talbot County Council and serve as Clerk of the Circuit Court. It will also include brief remarks from Republican candidates running to serve in the State Senate from District 37 and to serve in the State House of Delegates from District 37B. Following remarks from the candidates, there will be a question and answer session.

Central Committee Chair Nick Panuzio noted “ This forum is an outstanding opportunity for citizens to hear firsthand from Republican candidates on their views on the most pressing public policy issues that impact Talbot County and their thoughts on how best to address them.”

Central Committee Co vice Chair Connie Sheer also noted “The timing for this forum is ideal, as it will be held one week before early voting opens.”
