Loriann Oberlin, who uses the pen name of Lauren Monroe for her fiction work, and Robert Bidinotto—both residents of Queen
Anne’s County— will sign books for patrons at the News Center in Easton, Maryland, Saturday, May 17th.

Oberlin, who has a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins and works as a therapist, has also written non-fiction books, including Overcoming Passive-Aggression, Surviving Separation & Divorce, The Angry Child, and Writing for Quick Cash (dozens of ways to make money writing). She chose a symbolic pen name to separate the genres.

Letting Go: The Maryland Shores is a women’s fiction novel set in a particularly tense time in DC/MD history. With a nautical theme, strong family focus and a workplace romance, the novel also takes aim at a fun local football rivalry. Reviews of  i note its realistic, likeable characters, page-turning plot, and strong, at times steamy, love story.

Robert Bidinotto is author of the bestselling Hunter and is an award winning investigative crime journalist and editor.

Hunter earned the #1 ranking among Kindle mysteries and thrillers and became a Wall Street Journal “top 10 fiction eBook.” A blend of spy mystery, romance, and intense thriller action, it is the tale of two people who fall deeply in love—only to find that they are opponents in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse. He will soon publish the first sequel in his Dylan Hunter thriller series titled Bad Deeds.

The Easton News Center is conveniently located in the Talbot Town Shopping Center (North Washington Street), near the Easton Farmer’s Market which runs on Saturdays.
