Easton – On March 14, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office stopped a white VolksWagon on the Easton Bypass near Oxford Road due to the driver talking on her cellular phone while driving. Upon approach, the Deputy detected the odor of marijuana and a subsequent search of the vehicle revealed an amount of marijuana in the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, Pamela Denise Raynor, 46 of Magnolia, DE was charged with possession of marijuana, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs/alcohol and utilizing a handheld device while driving. The passenger in the vehicle, Ronald E. Killen, 67 of Felton, DE was also charged with possession of marijuana. Both were released upon signatures on the criminal and traffic citations.
Easton – On March 15, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office observed a Chevrolet Suburban on Dover Road near Elliott Road with an altered temporary registration plate. Upon contact with the vehicle operator, Jayvon Dontrey Mosley, 25 of Bridgeville, DE, the odor of marijuana was detected. A search of Mosley and the vehicle was conducted and an amount of marijuana was located. Mosley was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, operating a motor vehicle while license suspended and knowingly inserting false information on temporary registration plate. Mosley was processed and taken before a District Court Commissioner who released him on his personal recognizance.
Cordova – On March 15, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office observed a vehicle parked at the Cordova Country Park occupied by two males. Upon contact with the occupants, the Deputy detected the odor of marijuana inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted and an amount of marijuana was located. The passenger in the vehicle, Javier Jevonte Michaux, 19 of Lawrenceville, GA admitted to possessing the marijuana and was issued a criminal citation for possession of marijuana. Michaux was released upon his signature.
Easton – On March 16, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 10000 block of Cordova Road in reference to a domestic assault. The Deputies contacted Paul Robert Callahan, 25 of Trappe, MD who had obvious injuries to his eye and face. The Deputies were informed Callahan had been assaulted by his fiancé, Megan Renee Endzel, 24 of Trappe, MD after an argument. Endzel was placed under arrest and charged with assault in the second degree. Endzel was transported to the Office for processing and taken before a District Court Commissioner who ordered Endzel be held in lieu of a $5.000.00 bond. Callahan was transported to Easton Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Easton – On March 16, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 300 block of Dover Road in an attempt to locate and serve a warrant on Albert Edward Dallam Jr, 32 of Tilghman, MD. Dallam was located and arrested, upon a search of his person the Deputies located drug paraphernalia. The Deputies served the warrant for violation of probation, a criminal summons for theft and a criminal citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.
St Michaels – On March 17, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office were notified by a concerned citizen of two males walking around an abandoned residence in the 200 block of Madison Avenue. Responding Deputies observed one of the males at the rear of the residence and when contact was attempted, the male ran from the area. After a short foot pursuit, the male was taken into custody and identified as William Howard Fleetwood, 25 of Chestertown, MD. It was determined Fleetwood and an accomplice had broken into the crawlspace of the residence and were removing copper pipes. Footprints in the snow were tracked, which led to the High’s Store, and one of the Deputies recalled a pickup truck parked there which had left the area. A lookout was broadcast and Deputies located and stopped the vehicle, identified as a blue in color Mazda pickup registered to Fleetwood. The occupants were identified as Bryan Justin Hickman, 25 of Queenstown, MD and Tara Michelle Knapp, 25 of Chestertown, MD. Hickman was verified as the second male involved in the burglary and was placed under arrest. As a result of the investigation, Fleetwood and Hickman were charged with Burglary, theft and malicious destruction of property. After being seen by a District Court Commissioner, Fleetwood was ordered held on a $6,500.00 bond and Hickman was released to the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office on a separate warrant. Several burglary tools were recovered as well as stolen property, which was returned to the owner. Knapp was not charged in the incident.
