The St. Michaels Art League October Library Show with the theme “Around the Town” will open Monday, October 2nd and will be on display through October 30th. This exhibit will showcase original artwork exclusively by St. Michaels Art League members. Members were challenged to depict scenes in a 2-dimensional media of subjects in a town which could mean a landscape; a still life; an architectural rendering; abstract or photo realistic…in other words, “the sky is the limit”.
This exhibit will be judged by Alan Brock who is an architect, the new owner of South Street Gallery and an avid collector of fine art.
The Talbot County Free Library is located at 106 Freemont St. in St. Michaels and the gallery is located in the rear of the library. The library hours are 9am to 8pm Monday and Thursday; 9am to 6pm Tuesday and Wednesday; and 9am to 5pm Friday and Saturday.
