Talbot County Commission on Aging Hosts 2025 Senior Resource Fair on May 21

The Talbot County Commission on Aging invites the community to the 2025 Senior Resource Fair on Wednesday, May 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Easton Volunteer Fire Department.

This free, annual event is open to older adults, caregivers, and family members looking for resources, information, and services that support healthy and independent aging. Admission and parking are free.

Now in its second year under the Commission’s leadership, the fair continues to grow in both reach and impact. Attendees will find a wide array of health and wellness resources, including:

  • Free health screenings (balance checks, A1C testing, Hepatitis C and HIV testing)
  • Raffle prizes and giveaways
  • Informational tables hosted by local senior service providers and community organizations

“We are beyond excited to bring this event back to the community,” shared Rachel Smith, Chairperson of the Commission and Director of Sales and Marketing at Londonderry on the Tred Avon. “Last year’s fair showed us just how much of a difference this event can make. We’re expanding our offerings this year to reach even more seniors and families — and I could not be more grateful to each and every Commission member who has dedicated their time and energy to make this happen.”

The Talbot County Commission on Aging meets monthly at the Talbot Senior Center (Brookletts Place) to identify and address the needs of seniors throughout the county and provide recommendations to the Talbot County Council.

For more information about the Senior Resource Fair, please contact the Talbot County Commission on Aging at [email protected] or visit talbotseniors.org. Transportation assistance may be available through Delmarva Community Transit at 410-822-4155.
