Talbot Family Network (TFN), the Local Management Board for Talbot County, recently hosted two public Community Forums in the month of July – one in Easton on July 8, followed by another in St. Michaels held on July 11. The purpose behind the forums was for TFN to review the planning process currently underway with community members, and gain input and feedback on all issues impacting families with children and youth in Talbot County. TFN would like to thank the Talbot County Board of Education and the St. Michael’s Branch of the Talbot County Free Library for providing space to host these events.
Now that the Community Forums are complete, TFN turns to their next phase of data collection – the Community Survey. In order to accurately address the needs of the community, TFN needs as many people living and working in Talbot County as possible to complete this survey!
“We strongly encourage everyone in their professional and even personal networks to complete this survey as it will help us immensely as we review our priorities this year,” says Katie Sevon, Talbot Family Network Executive Director. “Please share it with your employees, clients, co-workers, friends, and family – everyone in Talbot!”
To access the survey, please visit: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/surveytalbot. The survey is also available in Spanish by visiting: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/talbotspanish.
The mission of the Talbot Family Network is, through collaboration with public and private entities, to identify and develop support systems for a safe, healthy, and caring community for all Talbot County children and families. Community input is a very important step in helping TFN achieve this mission.
