Junior Achievement of Talbot County is proud to announce the return of the second annual Talbot Cup Dodgeball Tournament, sponsored by Out of the Fire Restaurant. The event will be held on Sunday, February 23 at Easton High School from 12 – 5pm.
“We are excited to bring back this popular community event that supports free financial literacy training in our classrooms,” said Geoff Oxnam, President of the Junior Achievement of Talbot County Advisory Board. “It is great to see so many local businesses step up to support our students.”
Oxnam added that JA of Talbot County is particularly grateful for the leadership of returning title sponsor, Out of the Fire Restaurant.
The 2014 Tournament has expanded to add even more teams that compete in a round-robin format. By popular demand, the Talbot Cup offers a new feature this year–two teams eliminated in the early rounds may buy their way back into the “Elite Eight” round. Entry fee for the event is $300 per team.
In addition to forming teams, individuals and organizations may participate as sponsors. Sponsorships range from $150 to $2,500.
