Happy Labor Day! Talbot County Schools opened August 26 , days before the traditional day after Labor Day openings of the past! A special thanks to Cissy Weibe for sharing this picture of her Dad Fred Fox (far right) with his two brothers (left to right) Morton Fox and Benjamin Fox standing in front of the 1820 Hanson Street Easton High School building . The Hanson Street School became Easton Elementary School in 1929 when the new Idlewild Avenue Easton High School building was opened. Ben Fox lived in Easton and worked with his brother Fred at the Fox Cannery in Queen Anne, Maryland. Ben died in 1971 at 42. Morton Fox was in the Army and lived all over. Fred Fox was born in 1927 so this photo was probably taken in the late 1930’s when it was Easton Elementary School.
