The Tidewater Inn on the corner of Harrison and Dover Streets celebrated its grand opening on September 2, 1949! The Hotel was built by A. Johnson Grymes. The interesting discovery found by looking closely at this 1954 Talbot Historical Society H. Robins Hollyday Collection photo is that there was a house where the Tidewater Inn’s Gold Room is today!
