Certainly would have been interesting to know that.

I do believe all of those are 1966 model year VW’s. My guess would be the same year that the picture was shot unless it was in 1965 debuting the newest model year ‘Dubs available.

I was there and well remember that day in 1966.
The ad’s hook was:
The Ferry TRED AVON can carry 3 cars or 4 WVs.
Any time 4 VWs cross at once Fortenbaugh Volkswagen will pay the toll!
I don’t think that ever happened, but the dealership got a lot of buzz out of it.
