Talbot Historical Society Project Rewind: Before There was Talbottown

September 18, 2020 by Talbot Historical Society

Share

Recognize this part of Easton, Maryland? The field and farm are definitely not there today! On the top right is Talbottown which was dedicated in 1957! The convergence of Glebe Road and North Washington Street is visible. Wonder if the road to the barn in the bottom right corner is still there? Does anyone know who owned the farm on the land that is now the very busy Marlboro Ave. part of town?? Photo from the Talbot Historical Society’s H. Robins Hollyday Collection.
