Old photo albums from the early 20th Century donated by Malcolm Hathaway decades ago were recently found in our archive section of our collections vault and the album photos have now been entered and scanned into our Museum Past Perfect database. This 1913 photo is of Captain Law, Elizabeth J. Hathaway, and F. Rosalind Spring enjoying a golfing day at the Talbot Country Club on Old Country Club Road in Easton, Maryland. The corner of the old Talbot Country Club Club House on the right verified the location. The Talbot Country Club was founded on December 12, 1910 explaining the lack of trees on the 9 hole course in the background that opened for play in 1911. It must have been challenging for the ladies to play golf wearing those long dresses!
