Talbot Historical Society Project Rewind: Let’s Meet at the Kap-Dun Club

The Tred Avon Yacht Club was founded in 1931 in a Bath House near the Oxford-Bellevue Ferry Dock. It was originally called the Kap-Dun Club and when membership rose it became the Tred Avon Yacht Club. This first Club House was built on the point where the present new Tred Avon Yacht Club was opened in 2001. The yearly Tred Avon Yacht Club/ Chesapeake Bay Yacht Club Sailboat Regatta is being held this weekend August 10-11, 2024. Facts: TAYC.com.
