Whatever happened to this home probably did not go as planned! Perhaps a fire but more likely a demolition? The Talbot Historical Society H. Robins Hollyday Collection data states the photo was taken of a house next to the Sunoco Station at the intersection of Dover and Aurora Streets in Easton. Wonder if that home is still there?

John Noble says
The house pictured was destroyed along with other structures including Fowler’s Sunoco station which stood for many years on the northwest corner of Dover and Aurora in order to make room for the relatively new residential structures which now grace that corner. Fowler’s was one of the last true “service stations”. At Fowler’s a smiling attendant pumped the gas for you, cleaned your windshield, checked the oil and wished you a good day.
