This c.1940-50’s Easton, Md. Bay and Washington Street’s intersection looks very different today! Notice the Acme Market and next to it the Calvary Methodist Church! Those two buildings were demolished to make room for the construction of Safeway. Across Washington Street from the church are all four of the Langsdale Houses! Now only the far left white one remains and two were moved to Bay Street. Talbottown ,built in 1957, isn’t there! Enjoy comparing now and then! Photo from the Talbot Historical Society’s H. Robins Hollyday Collection.
