St. Michaels, Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum first opened in 1965 and included the three houses to the left on the St. Michaels Harbor. By 1967 Navy Point had been purchased and the Hooper Straight Lighthouse was moved and opened to the public in May of that year. Notice the Perry Cabin farm in the background! The Crab Claw Restaurant appears to have still been a seafood packing house at that time? This undated photo was found in the Talbot Historical Society Collections.
