Today marks 59 years of welcoming guests to CBMM!

On May 22, 1965, we opened our doors after two years of planning. More than 10,000 guests visited in the first six months to view exhibitions in the Dodson House. The rest is history!

Thanks for all your support as we approach six decades of preserving and exploring the history, environment, and culture of the entire Chesapeake Bay region and making this resource accessible to all!
