My Mom, Marjorie Disharoon, rode her bike to see the fire and then went to the hospital and had me the day the Avon burned down!

At the time it burned it was called the Avon Hotel. However, at an earlier time it was known as The Norris Hotel, proprietor, one Mr. Norris. With my father, I attended a meeting of the Talbot Minutemen (I think that was their name) in the hotel about a year before the fire.
