I remember these days so fondly. Living in the country we had little chance to trick or treat. My parents would bring us in to watch the parade which always was full of children and adults in costumes. We (children) would then trick or treat on Harrison, Hanson, and Washington streets while the parents gathered with friends in The Tidewater Inn for evening refreshments. It was a carefree, safe and uncomplicated time. This is such wonderful treasured memory.
