The Talbot County Women’s Club presented Easton Middle School with 60 backpacks filled with school supplies as part of their annual Backpack Drive Campaign. The project was coordinated by Mrs. Patricia Early, a retired TCPS teacher and member of the club.
“Special thanks to Patricia Early, the club’s long-time member for coordination this project. Patricia began organizing this project earlier this year, collecting the necessary school supplies along with backpacks. And special thanks to Staples, for their generous donation of school supplies to help us fill the backpacks,” says Nancy Lutes, president of the club. “It’s our mission to help those in need in Talbot County and we couldn’t be any happier helping the students of our community.”

Thank you for publishing this article in your “The Talbot Spy” about the “Backpacks for EMS. Hopefully many citizens of Talbot County will read this article. Our organization would benefit from donations to the Backpack Project. My husband and I are ordering and paying for 73 back packs for next year.
Thank you again for publishing this article.
