Talbot County Public Schools has announced that Mrs. Myesha Ford will transfer to the position of Administrative Intern at St. Michaels Elementary School for the 2020-2021 school year.
Mrs. Ford has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Morgan State University, and expects to receive a Masters in Educational Leadership from Salisbury University this summer. Certified in Elementary 1-6, she has been a third grade Language Arts teacher at St. Michaels Elementary since 2018. Her prior experience includes teaching second grade in Dorchester County.

“I look forward to Mrs. Ford transferring her classroom skills and professionalism to this school-wide position,” added Dr. Indra Bullock, Principal. “All SMES students, staff and families will benefit from her experience, knowledge and commitment to loving and educating our students.”
Dedicated to advancing ALL students, Mrs. Ford provides after school support through “Still I Rise!” a leadership program for students of color, and the St. Michaels After School Help (SMASH) program. She resides in Denton, MD with her husband and son.
“Mrs. Ford’s commitment to building relationships with students, staff, families, and community, as well as her demonstrated leadership qualities are well-suited for an Administrative Intern position,” said Dr. Kelly Griffith, Superintendent. “I am excited to have her join our Leadership Team as part of our long-term succession planning.”
