The Rotary Club of St. Michaels Donates Check to Talbot Hospice

February 17, 2022 by Rotary Club of St. Michaels

Share

The Rotary Club of St. Michaels donated a check to Talbot Hospice to fill their housekeeping supply needs for three months. The supplies are dedicated for their guest wing and family visiting room. Many family members and visitors use these areas when they support their loved ones and access grief support from the Talbot Hospice. The donated money fulfills the housekeeping needs of family and guests when they stay in the Hospice House. Cleaning supplies and paper products are purchased with the money. For over 25 years, the Rotary Club of St. Michaels has supported the Hospice with housekeeping supplies, either with a monetary donation or by their actual purchase. Proceeds from last year’s electric bike raffle and individual member donations made the check possible. To find out more about the club visit rotarystm.org. Present from the Rotary Club were President-Elect Amanda David, Treasurer Steve Friedberg, and Past Presidents Deborah Collison and Tom Roesel. Receiving the check for Talbot Hospice were Christopher A. Chekouras, Executive Director, and Laura Richeson, Development Associate.
