November 5, 2022 by Spy Desk

Share

The Woman’s Club of St. Michaels has awarded scholarships to St. Michaels High School seniors for more than 40 years and this year will award a total of $10,000 to one or more students graduating from St. Michaels High School in 2023.

The successful candidate or candidates will exhibit outstanding academic performance, be active in their school and community, and be in need of financial assistance.

In addition to information regarding academic performance and volunteer activities, students are required to submit an application and a personal essay. Finalists will be invited to interview with the Scholarship Committee in early spring. The recipient(s) will be announced at the Senior Awards Assembly, and will be required to attend the Woman’s Club of St. Michaels Annual Luncheon on Wednesday, June 7, 2021.

The application and information is available from Mr. JR Burkhardt in the SMHS Guidance Department.  The information is also available online through the SMHS website. The deadline for submitting an application is Monday, March 6, 2023.
