Tilghman Watermen’s Museum Scholarship Available

The Tilghman Watermen’s Museum is pleased to announce the availability of their academic scholarship application for 2021.  The $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a deserving Talbot County high school senior who was a graduate of the Tilghman Elementary School living in the Talbot County School District who has been accepted as a fulltime student of an accredited technical school, or a two year or four year college.

Applications for the scholarship are available from Talbot County High School Guidance Counselors; Connie Allen of Easton High, and J.R. Burkhardt of St. Michaels Middle High. The application is also available on the respective Guidance Counselors’ webpage.  Students who wish to be considered must send an application & supporting documentation to the attention of the TWM Scholarship Committee, PO Box 344, Tilghman, Maryland 21671 and must be postmarked no later than April 1, 2021.

The Tilghman Watermen’s Museum is dedicated to the vision of celebrating, documenting, preserving and sharing the history, traditions, heritage, and culture of Tilghman Island.
