Breath taking photo. I lived on Tilghman Island for nearly 20 years, not that I’m saying this IS Tilghman Island. Yet, something about the arrangement of boats and shores that brings my love of Tilghman back to me. And yet there is so much more, here, in this Photo. I guess I would say that maybe its in the transparency of the water. Hard to tell if I’m seeing schools of fish or reflections of the clouds, or if it is the time of day: Early morning or late in the day. Its the quality of the light on the water that moves me most. Maybe there are no fish in there at all; maybe its the magical capturing of imagination that holds my eye. There is so much room in this photo, to wonder, to reflect, and to dream, almost as though the photographer was intentionally giving the viewer gifts to the mind’s eye.
