Town of Easton Launches Website Redesign

April 25, 2025 by The Spy Desk

The Town of Easton is excited to announce that their website redesign is complete, and is now live and available to view at eastonmd.gov.

The eastonmd.gov website just underwent a six-month long redesign process in which the Town of Easton IT Department worked alongside government website provider CivicPlus to implement updates and new features. The website retains all of the functionality of the previous version, improved through a cleaner, easier to navigate interface.

While the interface now hosts easier to read type and better contrast on each page, the site’s translation features have also vastly improved, with over 200 languages available for website translation, making the site more accessible for all who visit.

“With our current contract, we are able to update our website every couple of years to offer residents some quality of life updates and to keep with the times,” said Scott Messick, Director of Information Technology. “We’re pleased to be able to offer an improved product for the public, and we’re proud of how accessible this new redesign is.”

With this new redesign, visitors will be able to easily:

Access Town Council Meetings and Agendas

On the Agendas and Minutes page, visitors can view live streams of active Town Council meetings, or watch recordings of them once they complete. Agendas for Town Council meetings are posted by the Friday before each meeting (the first and third Monday of each month, excluding holidays). Many public workshops and Boards and Commissions meetings can also be similarly viewed on this page.

Apply for Jobs

Find your career with the Town of Easton! Those looking to apply for Town jobs can follow this link to the Career Opportunities page where they can see available positions posted. Easton Police Department is currently looking for officers and those positions can be applied for at epdcareers.com.

See Road Closures

With this new website update, the Town of Easton aims to increase its community engagement and enhance the communication between residents and the local government.
